Single-use PPE was built to protect us, then discarded by the billions — bound for landfills, choking rivers, washing into oceans. We saw a thread where others saw trash.

Each ReMBrace carries a unique chain code — a blockchain-anchored string that records every hand the material passed through, from gutter to garment.

Fractional tokens are minted against that chain and distributed to the people and partners who made the piece possible. They keep earning royalties every time the bracelet — or its token — changes hands.

Every gram, fully traced

The chain code is not a sticker — it's woven in.

Each piece of waste is logged from the moment it's lifted off the ground. That record stays attached to the cord — physically and on-chain — for the life of the product.

Two low-cost, hi-tech methods carry the code into the weave: a unique colour-coded thread spun into the cord, and an optional RFID strand knotted invisibly inside. Tap, scan or read the colour — the full chain reveals itself.

The Worth Protocol described below is a design concept only. No token has been issued, no wallet deployed and no contract written. Implementation is subject to legal counsel and the approval of the relevant South African authorities — including FSCA, SARB and SARS guidance, Companies Act and consumer-protection review. Nothing on this page is an offer, solicitation, investment product or financial advice.

As designed, every picker, household, recycler, weaver, producer and wearer would be minted into the same chain — not as a record of a transaction, but as a strand of the rope. Cut one and the weave fails. The proposed protocol is drawn up so the network is only ever as strong as its weakest link, and so every link is paid to stay strong.

The concept is that ReMBrace would issue a self-custodial smart-wallet (ERC-4337 account abstraction) to every participant via a phone number — no seed phrases, no gas fees, no crypto literacy required. Pickers would redeem rewards at participating merchants once such arrangements are agreed; wearers would connect MetaMask, Rainbow or Coinbase. Same chain, different doors. Nothing here is built or deployed yet.
